Different Types of Tea

GREEN TEA: Simple, and delightful! Green tea is made from leaves of the camellia sinensis plant, and little else. It's fresh and clean tasting, and is China's most popular tea.

WHITE TEA: This type of tea is rare and much more difficult to harvest. These leaves are picked before they grow into the beautiful green leaves used for green tea. They also go through a very careful process to make them perfect for brewing. White tea has a very mild and delicate taste.

BLACK TEA: Black tea is the most flavorful of all teas on its own. It has a full, robust taste, and is often taken in the morning. Earl Grey is a favorite around the world, and is delightfully flavored with the bergamot orange. Black tea is also traditionally served as part of "afternoon tea" in Great Britain.
HERBAL TEA: Herbal tea is not made from the camellia sinensis plant, but rather the fruit, flowers, leaves and roots of other plants. There is a wide variety of herbal teas, and they are often drunk for their medicinal value. Many herbs have proven to be beneficial to human health. But also, they taste delicious!

CHAI TEA: Chai tea is a wonderful variation on black tea from India. The tea is infused with warm, aromatic spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorn, and cloves. It is often served with steamed milk. A bit of tranquility in your cup!

ROOIBOS TEA: Red rooibos tea is an herbal tea from Africa that is growing in popularity. It has a very unique taste: somewhat herbal, somewhat nutty, somewhat fruity. It is a favorite drink of those in South Africa, where the rooibos bush is native. One sip and you're mouth will be bursting with its exotic flavor!
